Assistance in Writing a SORA File
If the operations you plan with your drones require operating in a specific category with a SORA (Specific Operations Risk Assessment) file and you are not familiar with European legislation, Helodrone can assist you in your processes and obtaining the necessary authorizations.
What Is a SORA Risk Analysis ?
The evaluation of specific operational risks (Specific Operations Risk Assessment: SORA) is a new approach to creating, assessing, and safely conducting unmanned aircraft system (UAS) operations. Initially, ground (drone drop) and aerial (collision with an aircraft) risks are assessed separately. Then, based on the criteria described in the methodology, an overall risk (Specific Assurance & Integrity Level: SAIL) is assigned to the operation. Based on this, measures affecting both personnel and equipment will be put in place to reduce the overall risk to an acceptable level. The measures taken to reduce risk, as well as the procedures to follow, are documented in the file sent to aviation authorities.

What Are the PDRA Files ?
If, within the missions considered in the Specific category, your activity falls under a scenario for which a risk analysis has already been conducted (Predefined Risk Assessment: PDRA), Helodrone can assist you in writing an operations manual and in administrative procedures with the authorities.
